Women’s HCG Weight Loss and Diet Information

Written by admin on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 in Health and Fitness.

One of the most significant findings as of recent has been the reemergence of hormone therapy as a viable natural aid in better health and wellness hCG – Human Chorionic Gonadotropin. The HCG weight loss diet protocol is a low calorie diet accompanied with treatments of HCG, acting as an appetite suppressant. Those following the HCG diet usually report losing about one pound per day.

The HCG hormone is active in both men and women, but produced in quantity during pregnancy. When a woman is pregnant, HCG controls her metabolic rates. This hormone allows the body to mobilize fat and use it as energy for both mother and fetus. For those not pregnant, HCG still has the same effect, of increasing the use of stored fat. Thousands of calories within stored fat are then released from the body.

You can lose weight by simply eating fewer calories and fat, but because the body stores fat during times of deprivation, you will most likely lose muscle and bone before fat. Clients tend to feel more healthy and energetic with the HCG Weight Loss plan than they have in years. HCG can be safely utilized with both men and women, wanting to finally gain control of their weight. When you’re on the HCG diet protocol, you body will release its stores of fat as fuel, thereby reducing the fat.

All women experience very high levels during the nine months of every pregnancy with no adverse effects. Both the mother and fetus derive energy from the mother’s fat, converted via the HCG hormone. HCG is a pregnancy hormone, which doubles every two weeks during pregnancy.  Though most comonly associated with pregancy, HCG extends beyond. HCG has many benefits, and its application to different conditions. During pregnancy, the substance almost completely controls the woman’s metabolic functions. While traditional medicines can certainly assist in loosing weight, preferred approaches include mechanisms already present in the body.

Factors that guarantee faster weight loss include adding/increasing vegetable intake and mixing salads with each meal. By doing so, the weight loss comes directly from fat, instead of stripping the body of muscle and nutrients. An important component of maintaining weight loss is proper fiber intake and water consumption. HCG dieters marvel at the ease of the weight loss and absence of negative health risks.

To get started, read Dr. Simeon’s Pounds and Inches, the guide to HCG Weight Loss. Then, find an experienced HCG doctor in your local community, one experience with the HCG weight loss protocol. Then, just before you start, join a community of other HCG dieters, who can help you along your path.

Discussing The Early Menopause Symptoms

Written by admin on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 in Health and Fitness.

Women that observe first symptoms of menopause will also notice that such symptoms are very much like those of early pregnancy and so it behooves them to take the advice of a doctor to find out what such symptoms really are since that will help find out whether something serious is amiss with you.

Perhaps one of the most significant early signs of menopause is the hot flashes which can cause you to sweat at night or even during the day when everyone else is comfortable or even cold. These hot flashes may or may not be accompanied by red blotchy skin, flushed skin or even a prickly kind of heat.

Hot flashes, one of the first signs of menopause, are also the most joked about of all the symptoms of this biological change. As many as seventy-five to eighty percent of all women experience this uncomfortable feeling which can last as short as thirty seconds or as long at thirty minutes or more. The average time for a hot flash moment is about five to ten minutes for these first signs of menopause. These hot flashes can be a warm flushing sensation on your face and upper body or it can present themselves as red blotchy skin.

A paradigm shift in your thinking about sex is among the first signs of menopause as well and those thoughts can go either way. Some women lose desire to have sex and it is coupled with vaginal dryness and lack of arousal. However, other women may feel sexier and enjoy it more, even with the physical symptoms like the vaginal dryness which can be aided by a number of lubricants on the market today.

The early menopause symptoms are such that they can cause great distress to you and among the other signs are chronic headaches, too much feeling of fatigue as well as problems with sleeping, and there may also are yeast infections, body aches and cramping as too changes to the level of blood sugar. In addition, it is common to experience irregular periods and there is also bleeding which is attributable to the rise and fall of hormone levels.

Among the treatments possible for early menopause symptoms are hormone replacement therapy or HRT and some over-the-counter as well as prescription medications, muscle relaxants, prescription pain relievers and also medications that are anti-inflammatory. However, if you do not wish to be affected by side effects, you would be well advised to consider herbal supplements that are an option that more and more women are opting for.

The actual event itself will likely come with little fanfare as you have been experiencing the early signs of menopause for years. You are in true menopause when you have not had a period for at least one year. Of course, those symptoms will likely continue for a while longer past the perimenopausal stage. The real kick in the pants comes with the fact that you can still get pregnant while still exhibiting the early signs of menopause. As long as you are still having periods, that means you are still ovulating and thereby there is always a small chance of pregnancy.

The Various Causes Of Yeast Infections

Written by admin on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 in Health and Fitness.

Candida is extremely common and there are many yeast infection causes. In fact most women, about 70% of them, will get a yeast infection at least once in their lifetimes. And some of these women will even get a recurrent yeast infection. To help prevent and cure this though, the first thing that should be known is, what is the cause of yeast infection?

Well, to begin with it should be stated that when it comes to causes of yeast infection, there are many and they run the gamut from simple stress in life to hormonal changes to transference through sexual intercourse.

And since there is no actual one cause of yeast infection that can be pinpointed and isolated to avoid getting a yeast infection, it’s best if you can be aware of most of them. In the long run this can help you to avoid getting a yeast infection.

One of cause of yeast infection is if you take antibiotics. Also the same holds true if you overuse antibiotics, and even normal use of them. In brief, antibiotics are taken to kill off any bad bacteria in your body.

Sometimes however it can also kill off some of the good bacteria thereby causing an imbalance in your body and promoting the growth of yeast producing bacteria.

Another cause of yeast infection occurs due to stress. A stressful lifestyle can and will change your hormones around and this can sometimes result in a yeast infection.

This same hormonal change is a prime factor in the cause of yeast infection of pregnant or lactating women, and women who are menopausal. When it comes to menstruation cycles the same applies both before and after as this does promote a lot of upheaval of the hormones ythe.

For men, the most common cause of yeast infection is through sexual intercourse with a woman affected with a yeast infection. This includes both vaginal sex and oral sex.

Other factors that can be a major cause of yeast infection in women include the use of douches, scented feminine hygiene products, feminine sprays, and the regular use of spermicides.

The use of any or all of these will imbalance the delicate balance of the vagina and can bring about an onset of yeast infection.

Another cause of yeast infection that is largely overlooked is clothing. This will include use of such iclothing as pantyhose, tight jeans and synthetic fiber underwear. Tight fitting clothes such as jeans won’t allow the vagina to breathe, and articles of clothing made from man made fibers will also do the same thing.

Your Best Choice is Natural Breast Enlargement

Written by admin on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 in Health and Fitness.

Quite amazing is the fact that despite the knowledge of the dangers that come along with breast surgery and surgical implants, the employment of surgical enlargement is still very much in practice. The possible explanation for this could be that there is a higher possibility of getting results from the surgical process. The human mind is not interested in the nature of the good and services advertised; all they want to see are results.

Still, if the possibility of danger begins to outweigh the benefits of this surgery, the people begin to have doubts and begin to reconsider the options, which they have in front of them. Although breast enlargement by natural means is not as popular as that by surgery, that does not mean that it does not yield results. We as humans must ensure that we do all we can to accept changes and look at things objectively before making a choice on what to settle for.

A wonderful alternative to surgical enlargement is the natural method. This method has steadily increased in popularity over the past few years. Without an iota of doubt, enhancement by natural processes has proven to be the best and safest option. Most surgically related problems such as scarring and implants leaking over time are unheard of in this process. In surgically related implantation, there is also the occurrence that the implant becomes hard and painful over time.

Some women even confess that the results achieved from surgical enhancement can even be disappointing. They later find out that the cost was high, and the result was embarrassing.

One of the biggest disadvantage of the natural method however, is that the surgical implantation takes place immediately, and is often carried out by professionals. In natural methods, however, many variables are introduced.

These variables arise, as result of the fact that we are the ones doing the job ourselves. We may not pay strict attention to procedure, and this would invariably lead to variation in results. Most times, if we do not see speedy results, we begin to tire of the routine. Due to these reasons, many women, give up readily and fall out of the method.

This does not imply that natural methods are ineffective; it only means that most women are too impatient to wait for results. It is analogous to losing weight; we are quite aware that we should eat healthier, yet till today, thousands of books and tapes are being sold, telling us to eat better.

The reason these people write these books is because we are unconvinced; we think that is a slight-of-hand-trick that we would apply that would get us what we want quickly.

In conclusion, natural methods will be effective for you, it is less money consuming, and along with enhancing your breast size and shape, it is milder on your health.

Try to understand the techniques that produce results; and then you would be the cynosure of all eyes naturally.

How To Motivate Yourself To Lose Weight

Written by admin on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 in Health and Fitness.

Losing weight can be very hard for most people because the primary thing you need to do is change your lifestyle and habits. If you’ve lived a sedentary lifestyle, and you’ve let yourself eat the wrong kinds of foods, you’ll need to start changing those habits in order to lose weight. Instead of sitting in front of the TV with potato chips, pretzels, and soda for example, now you’ll need to start getting up, moving around, and maybe even warning to the gym.

When you first decide to lose weight it can be exciting. You have dreams of a slimmer and sexier body, and being able to fit into smaller clothes. As time goes on however, the reality starts to kick in and you realize losing weight is not exactly easy. And to make matters worse, changing old habits is not easy either. And this causes you to lose motivation with your weight loss goals.

First thing you should do is review the weight-loss goals you have. Knowing why you want to lose weight helps you become very clear about your priorities, why is the weight-loss is important to you, and this will help renew your motivation.

Talk to other friends who may also be trying to lose weight themselves. When you’re trying to lose weight, having a support system can be critical. Having a friend who is also going through the same frustrations, will help both of you feel better about what you’re doing, and the more motivated as well.

A third way to motivate yourself to continue losing weight is simply to visit your doctor. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how good your weight loss program is, you will still have times where you hit a plateau. In some cases you may even start gaining weight again, instead of losing it, despite the fact that you haven’t cheated. So talk to your doctor. Give them the details of your weight-loss goals, the plan your following, and what results you’ve gotten so far. Not only will you get advice for problem areas, but the doctor will congratulate you and make you feel good about what you’re doing. And this can be very motivating.

Drinking Water Helps Burn Body Fat

Written by admin on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 in Health and Fitness.

Did you know that plain old water can help you lose weight fast? Not many people know this, but it’s actually true. You see, the human body is made up of approximately 70% water. Water is used by every cell in our body, and we can’t automatically produce or replenish it. So drinking fresh water helps our bodies in a variety of ways. Water helps regulate our body temperature for example, keeps us hydrated, and helps us digest our foods best. And proper food digestion is key to losing weight. On average, adults should have at least 2 liters of water each day. This varies of course, depending on your body makeup, and physical activity levels.

Water helps flush the body of many problems and diseases that are common to the intestine, stomach, and kidneys. If you’re constipated for example, drinking more water will help move things through and out of your body. Water also helps flush toxins from your body and increase your metabolism, both of which help you lose weight.

Since water helps increase your metabolism, it also boosts your energy levels. If your body doesn’t have enough water being supplied to it, you’ll start feeling sluggish and tired because it has to choose between processing the food you eat or giving you energy. And when your body stops processing your food it has a limited supply of energy it can give you. By simply drinking more water, you allow your body to concentrate on processing the food you eat, thus it’s able to supply you with more energy more consistently.

When you drink more water and your metabolism increases, this in turn helps your body burn fat faster and that of course, helps you shed extra weight very quickly!

Last but not least, water helps suppress your appetite. When you don’t have as much of an appetite, you eat less food, and less food almost always helps you lose weight. You don’t have to use pills and gimmicks to suppress your appetite when water will do it for you naturally. Many times when you think you’re hungry, you’re actually just thirsty too. So instead of snacking on junk, trying drinking a tall glass of water instead. It may just fill you up and make you forget the junk food for awhile!

3 Simple Activities To Help You Lose Weight Fast

Written by admin on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 in Health and Fitness.

Some people believe that the only way to lose weight is to spend hours working out at the gym. And that’s simply not true. You really can lose weight just by doing regular day to day activities like yoga, running, or walking. Let’s look at these three simple ways for you to lose weight fast.

Walking is sometimes the best exercise you can do, because pretty much anyone can do it. Not every one can start out walking several miles each day, but in most cases everyone can start out by walking around the block. Or even walking around the mall. By doing this each day, or even a few times each week, you will soon find yourself able to walk two or 3 miles at once. And every bit of walking you do helps burn fat and lose weight.

Some people fine running interesting while others find it quite boring. And if you do it wrong, by running too fast for instance, will find yourself gasping for breath and exhausted. This is actually why most people don’t like running as an exercise. What you might not realize though, is that you don’t have to run fast just to burn fat and lose weight. In fact, you can start out simply by walking fast. As you get used to that level of exercise, you can increase your pace to a slow steady jog.

If you have joint problems, or recent leg injuries, or other diseases which cause joint pain such as arthritis, then running might not be the best exercise for you.

Yoga is another excellent way to burn fat and lose weight. Most people don’t realize this, but it’s true. In fact, feel that they sometimes even better than running or walking. You’ll go help strengthen your muscles, increase your endurance, and relieve stress at the same time. All the while been very low impact, so there’s less risk to your joints and extremities. Spending just 30 minutes a day doing yoga, can help improve your body as well as your mind.

Lose Weight Faster By Keeping A Journal

Written by admin on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 in Health and Fitness.

When you’re trying to lose weight, consistency is extremely important. In fact, you must create an actual habit to change the way you eat, and habits are both hard to create as well as hard to break. Weight loss journals help you keep track of what you eat, when you eat it, and how your body responded to the foods you ate too.

Weight loss journals are also an excellent way to keep track of what triggers various food cravings. Sometimes certain foods are just a habit to eat – like chocolate ice cream before going to bed – but sometimes those foods are comfort items we crave when something is wrong. Maybe there’s a bit of extra stress in your life, or you get worried about the cost of gas – whatever. But these worries and stresses will often trigger a food craving that isn’t good for you.

Keeping a weight loss journal will let you track when certain food cravings are triggered and why, and by tracking those you’ll be able to start developing more healthy responses for the next time those triggers arise.

So what should you do with your weight loss journal? Two primary things…

1. Track the foods you eat. When you’re trying to lose weight, the most important step is to change how you eat. And it’s difficult to change something when you’re not fully aware of everything involved. As part of tracking your eating habits, you’ll also start changing your eating habits. And this is sometimes very difficult to do. By keeping detailed records of what food you ate, when, and how much, you’ll soon have an excellent picture of how well or how poorly you’re doing with your weight loss efforts because it’s all right there in black and white. You might be able to forget you ate that cookie yesterday, but your journal won’t!

2. Track how the foods you eat make you feel. Sometimes specific foods are problematic for some people, because they’re sensitive or mildly allergic to something and they’re not aware of it. Some people will get very sleepy or bloated when they eat or drink milk products for example, and others retain extra water weight and feel sluggish if they eat certain types of carbohydrates.

3. Track your physical activity. Changing how you eat is usually only part of the weight loss equation. By keeping details of your physical activity in your weight loss journal, you’ll help yourself with this second part of the weight loss process too. Even if you don’t do formal exercise routines and workouts, you should keep track of any extra physical activity. Maybe you walked around the mall, or pulled weeds in the garden – these count as extra physical activity. And by tracking these in your weight loss journal, you’ll be able to see your progress with the weight loss, but also with your energy and mood levels too.

So start your own weight loss journal today, keep it with you at all times, and update it faithfully as you go about your regular activities.

The Truth About Skipping Meals To Lose Weight Fast

Written by admin on Thursday, April 30th, 2009 in Health and Fitness.

Q: Is there a way I can simply skip certain foods during mealtime and lose weight faster?

A: Yes and No. Just skipping entire food groups in your meals could be problematic, particularly if you skip the wrong ones. Cutting out all vegetables for example, is an unhealthy way to lose weight.

Protein is essential for making your muscles stronger too, and the stronger your muscles are, the faster your body can burn extra fat. Why? Because the body uses more calories to maintain muscle mass. If your body is comprised of primarily fat, then it uses less calories to maintain that fat. So eating quality protein is essential when losing weight, especially when you’re more physically active and thus making your muscles stronger too.

Now many people feel you should not cut out starchy foods from your meals, but I disagree on this point. Even cutting down on the amount of high starch foods you eat can make dramatic differences in how fast you lose weight. Cutting down on starches doesn’t neccessarily mean you need to remove them though.

Usually people think of carbohydrates when they think of starches, and for the most part this is correct. The kinds of carbohydrates to cut for the fastest weight loss though, are not “all” of them – only the simple ones.

Simple carbohydrates make weight loss much more difficult than it needs to be, and in many cases they can actually cause you to gain weight even when you’re trying to lose. Simple carbohydrates include things such as white bread, white rice, instant potatoes, and any other quick or instant type of foods.

Realize however, that when you cut these foods out of your diet you’re not cutting out carbohydrates completely. Since you’re eating plenty of vegetables – hopefully you’re eating a lot of leafy green vegetables – you’re still getting carbohydrates, they’re just in a much healthier form than you previously ate.

And if you simply replace the simple carbs with more complex ones, such as those gotten from wild brown rice, or steel cut oats, you’re also getting a much healthier variety of carbohydrates in your meals.

Now to lose weight fast there is one group of foods you should eliminate as completely as possible from your meals: Junk. Technically junk is not a food group, but in today’s society it’s treated as one. Stop drinking sugary sodas and “power drinks”. Stop eating all the cakes, cookies, and candies. If you must have something sweet once in awhile, try a piece of fruit or something sweetened artificially instead. But don’t go overboard on those either: Eat sweets sparingly, not with each meal.
