Anxiety disorder or panic attack? Is either of these a problem for you? These days most people see these as the same thing, just different names.

Both can give you similar symptoms. Whether mild symptoms or very severe symptoms. You will still end up petrified with these attacks.

Doesn’t matter how you describe this, be it anxiety disorder or panic attack. It’s important to get control as soon as possible. Something, anything that helps to keep these symptoms under control.

I’ve seen first hand how debilitating these attacks can get, and the urgency for treatment. There are of course plenty of prescription drugs that you can try. It’s a good idea to get checked out by your doctor to rule any other problems out.

If you are sure you have a panic or anxiety disorder. I suggest you try to avoid prescription drugs. There’s more than one reason why I say that.

The first reason is that with drugs come side effects, sometimes pretty bad ones. The other reason is that medication programs are mostly only short term things. No doctor should want you on a long term drug program for anxiety attacks.

It’s a certainty that most doctors would have you stop the drugs sooner rather than later. No doubt the thought has crossed your mind about coming off the drugs, and the consequences. That’s a very good question.

I think you’ll be pleased to know that you don’t need to rely on drugs. There are other methods that will work better. And they don’t use drugs of any sort. No drugs or (costly) hypnotherapy sessions.

These drug free techniques were put together by other panic attack victims. Victims who have conquered the problem. You learn to notice the signals that an attack is about to strike. Then you use what you’ve learned to quickly stop it from going any further.

It’s your choice, carry on with the panic attacks and anxiety disorder. Or decide to take control and teach yourself some killer techniques.
